Beschreibung
The subject of this procurement is a Hall-effect thruster system for small satellites with <150 kg mass. The thruster will be used for performance and verification testing on engineering model level for future small satellite missions. The objectives are to understand thruster characteristics (thrust measurement, continuous operation), gain practical experience with the propulsion system, and to derive integration requirements for a small satellite mission (thruster operation, thermal soak-back, electromagnetic compatibility, cathode lifetime etc.) for Fraunhofer EMI?s next spacecraft missions. There is currently no specific mission design but different mission options, for which an application of the truster is intended as part of a dedicated propulsion system. Hall-Effect Thruster
